Bonnie Sue LaRocque, 57, of Lynn, MA, formerly of Saugus, MA, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, December 17, 2023.
Born in Saugus, MA, she was a graduate of Saugus High School class of '84 and was employed at Walmart in Lynn. She was kind, fun-loving, and the life of the party. She loved going to the beach, chatting with her friends, and watching her beloved grandchildren.
When Bonnie became a grandmother, her grandchildren became the light of her life. She had a special relationship with each of her 6 grandchildren. She would often take walks with her oldest grandchild, support them in dance competitions and art projects. She will be greatly missed by her family and many friends.
Bonnie is survived by her 2 children, Gil LaRocque and his wife Ashley-Sarah LaRocque, Jenara Martell and her fiancé Damian Springer; her cherished grandchildren, Jennalee Ellwell, Zaniyah Ellwell, Zaylianna Martell, Davanni Springer, Gabriella LaRocque, and Sophia LaRocque; her brothers Michael Roberts and Jeff Roberts; and loving nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her parents, Cheryl Roberts and David Roberts.
Visiting hours and a celebration of her life will be held on Wednesday, December 27th from 4:00 to 7:00 P.M. at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home, 10 Chestnut St. Peabody, MA 01960. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A graveside service will be held on Thursday, December 28th at 12:30 P.M. at Riverside Cemetery, Saugus. Please meet directly at the cemetery gate.
