Obituary
Carmen Maria Gonzalez, passed away on March 4th at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers, after battling a long term illness, surrounded by her loving family at the age of 59.
Carmen was born in Arroyo, Puerto Rico to Violetta (Amaro) Gonzalez and the late Juan Gonzalez. She resided in Chelsea for many years before moving to Providence, RI and recently in Peabody.
Beloved mother of Hector Gonzalez of Florida and Leslie and Aileen Gonzalez of Providence.
Longtime companion of Felix Burgos.
Devoted grandmother of Jessylee, Crystal, Melody, Hector Jr., and Ashlynn of Florida and Desmond and Lyzaiah of Providence, RI.
Dear sister of Felicita, Maria, Juan J., Maria J., Felix W., Juan A., Jeannie K., and the late Angel L.
Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will honor Carmen's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home 10 Chestnut St., Peabody on Tuesday March 8th from 4:00PM to 8:00PM.
