Sutcliffe, Dr. Brian Robert, 75, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 1st after a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born and raised in Lawrence, Massachusetts. After graduating from Lawrence High School, he earned his Bachelor's, Master and Doctorate from the University of Massachusetts. He began his teaching career at Keith Academy and then taught for many years at Saint John’s Preparatory School in Danvers, MA, where he earned the respect and love of hundreds of students. After teaching high school for over 30 years, he taught at various area colleges. He enjoyed spending time with his grandkids and two dogs in retirement.
He is predeceased in death by his late wife, Patricia Sutcliffe (Colbert), brother Arnold, and son Shayne Loizides. He is survived by his loving wife of thirty years, Janet Sutcliffe (Estey) of Peabody, MA, brother Wayne of The Villages, FL, children Shaun and husband Fred of Weymouth, MA, Jennifer Wyatt of Hendersonville, TN, Branden Loizides and his wife Darred of Watertown, MA, Benjamin Loizides and his significant other Jocelyn of Peabody, MA, sister-in-law Sharyn of Burr Ridge, IL, Six (6) grandchildren Cassandra, Cameron and Reagan of Peabody, Justin, Sage, and Sophia of Hendersonville, TN, and his dogs, Lilly and Moose.
