On June 19, 2022 at the age of 49. Francine Renée Cormier was called home without warning.
Francine was born to Patricia H. (Cogey) (Cormier) Lacorte and Ronald H. Cormier on September 13, 1972 in Danvers MA. She was the stepdaughter of the late Michael Lacorte, and Jacqueline Marin, sister-in-law to Joseph Yutkins, proud Auntie to Joseph Yutkins Jr. and loving goddaughter of George and Pat Gagne.
Affectionately known as Francine the Bean by her dad, she enjoyed growing up in Danvers with her big sister Claudette Cormier-Yutkins. Francine attended Danvers public schools where she was on the tennis team. She also attended St. Mary of the Annunciation Church in Danvers for her sacraments and later attended Mass at St. Adelaide and St. John the Baptist in Peabody. She enjoyed working at the Danvers Stop & Shop bakery and had many friends there. Francine was studying at Northern Essex Community College when it was discovered that she had a rare neurological condition that would change her life's direction, but not crush her spirit.
Francine loved swimming at the Oak Knoll pool, riding her bike, dancing, and attending country music concerts all over and once in Nashville. Her all time favorite memories were trips with her parents to the islands in the Caribbean. The warm sun, steel drum music and joking with her dad as he pushed her wheelchair were some of the best times of Francine's life.
Francine attended the Day by Day Adult Health Care program in Gloucester and the Torigian Center in Peabody where her continuous smile would light up the room. Francine had a gift of being able to make those around her feel at peace through her quiet and gentle presence.
Francine was cared for at home by her loving mother Patricia, as well as many kind and generous health care professionals that will forever be remembered for their unconditional love and kindness.
Family and friends will honor Francine's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home North Shore Chapel, 10 Chestnut Street, Peabody MA 01960, on Friday, July 8th from 9:00 A.M. to 11:00 A.M before leaving in procession to Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett.
