Lillian Laurano, born on November 28, 1941, to Emilio and Florence (Moody) Laurano, peacefully passed away on September 17, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones. She was a beloved daughter, mother, sister, grandmother, and great-grandmother, leaving behind a legacy of love, dedication, and cherished memories.
Lillian is survived by her loving children, Mark Giglio and his wife Merly of Florida, Pamela Giglio, and Nicole Giglio, along with the memory of her late children, Michael and Michelle Giglio. She was a source of unwavering support and love for her family throughout her life.
In addition to her children, Lillian was a caring sister to the late Robert Laurano and Barbara Couzzo. She was also an aunt to many loving nieces and nephews. Her presence in their lives brought joy, laughter, and a sense of unity that will be remembered fondly.
Lillian was a proud grandmother to Mark, Michael, Matthew, Courtney, and Gianna, and a great-grandmother to Luca, Jacob, Giorgio and Giuliana. She cherished her role as a matriarch and took immense pride in the achievements and milestones of her family. Her wisdom, warmth, and kindness will continue to guide and inspire her descendants.
Throughout her life, Lillian dedicated herself to her work. She was a longtime employee of the City of Boston and the Department of Revenue, where her commitment and dedication left a lasting impact on her colleagues and the community she served.
Family and friends will honor Lillian's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home North Shore Chapel in Peabody, on Thursday. September 21st from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM.
Lillian Laurano's passing leaves a void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her. Her memory will forever be cherished, and her spirit will continue to live on through the lives of her family. May she rest in eternal peace, reunited with her loved ones who have gone before her.
