Margarita (Marcopolous) Goros

Goros, Margarita (Marcopolous), of Revere, formerly of East Boston and Greece, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, March 8, 2022 at 89 years of age.

Beloved wife of the late Arthur Goros.

Loving daughter of the late Michael and Olga (Terizaki) Marcopolous.

Devoted mother of Sophia Desmond of East Boston, George Goros of East Boston, Michael Goros and wife Gina of Seattle, and Olga Martin and husband Ricardo of East Boston.

Dear sister of Eleni Kaloplastou, Demitra Kioumuosi, and the late Georgia, Elias, and Dionisios.

Cherished grandmother of Ariana, Loretta, Michael, Starr, and Margarita.

Treasured great-grandmother of Talia, Alonzo, Alexander, Aracelis, and Mia.

Also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

In accordance with Margarita's wishes, all services will be private. Margarita will be laid to rest with her beloved husband, Arthur, at Puritan Lawn Cemetery, Peabody. May they rest in peace.

Margarita was born in Marathos, Greece in January of 1933. She got married to her beloved Arthur in October of 1963. They then moved to the United States where they settled in Boston. Margarita obtained a college degree in Greece and spent many years in education, teaching general studies and history. She had a passion for teaching, gardening, and cooking.
