Obituary
Man, Siyan, of Peabody, passed away on February 5, 2023.
Devoted husband of Arlene M. (Wong) Man.
Beloved father of Alex Man.
Also survived by many loving family members and friends.
Family and friends will honor Siyan's life by gathering at the Ruggiero Family Memorial Home North Shore Chapel, on Thursday, February 9th from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a service in our chapel at 11 AM. Services will conclude with Siyan being laid to rest in Puritan Lawn Memorial Park Cemetery in Peabody.
Siyan received a Masters Degree in Music Education from Temple University in the United States, and upon graduating he traveled to Hong Kong to teach students there. In 1988, he moved back to the United States. Siyan was a long time Boston Public Schools music teacher. He taught at the Curtis Guild Elementary School, Donald McKay School and Josiah Quincy Elementary School for 28 years. Siyan has been a teacher for over 30 years between the United States and Hong Kong. He will be missed by many.
